The DM can be installed in the cloud or on your own on-premises server or appliance, and then each device you wish to manage can be enrolled with that server. With just a few clicks, you can view the status of your devices, update their firmware, or even edit their configuration, all without any need for a downward networking connection to the device. Email alerts can be provided for trouble conditions detected by Nova or by your specific configuration, while full integration with enterprise identity system via LDAP, RADIUS or SAML simplifies your user and credential management. If a device fails in the field, a new device can be enrolled in the same slot, and it will automatically adopt the prior device’s configuration, reducing downtime and getting your machine up and running with the right configuration in no time at all.
