This article explains how to add the current time and date to a display page.
Adding the Value Box
- From the display page editor, click the Plus icon and select a Value Box.
- Enter
Time()in the Value field to select the current system time in seconds. - Click the List icon next to the Format field to select the required formatting.
- Select the Time and Date option and configure the options.
- Select Unix Epoch to match the fact that
Time()returns in seconds. - Specify the time and date format if desired, or allow the user defaults to apply.
- Note that local time will show local with respect to the browser.
- For a captive browser on a panel PC, this may still be UTC.
